As I walked through the gate to the garden this morning I couldn't help but notice a feeling of peace and harmony as the slowly rising sun warmed the cold earth after an especially chilly June night. I wanted to sit down and have a cup of coffee and enjoy it.

Salty,
You are a great photographer and your pictures are always fantastic. What kind of camera do you use?
Dave Risch
Thank Dave, The garden will be well chronicled.
Panasonic DMC-FX-150 compact point and shoot.
I also have an Olympus FE-280 Compact that I really like as well.
I haven't graduated to the big honking SLRs. I'm resisting.
The panasonic is 14.7 megapixel with a decent sensor and tons of pre-sets. The Olympus only has 8 MP but takes great macros.
The garden looks great, photos too. It must be great stress relief to get out of the kitchen but still feel productive for the restaurant. Besides it's always fun to play in the dirt no matter how old we get.
